"Awe inspiring. I think the images created by Alison Bradley capture the landscape and the colours fantastically. We enjoy her pictures so much that we have bought seven prints over the years."

"We have recently visited the Alison Bradley Gallery in search of a perfect painting for our lounge. I found that painting immediately. Each piece of art was gorgeous, I will definitely visit again in search of another piece. Fantastic gallery, would definitely recommend."

I’m standing on the beach. Waves are rolling over my feet as they slowly sink into the soft warm sand. Sun, wind, and spray are tickling at my senses. The smell of the sea is intoxicating. I’m reminiscing about my first visit here twenty years ago.
Back then, my life was at a crossroads. I was drifting through a career I didn’t enjoy, with my passion for art buried under the weight of routine. But then I met Jon and everything changed.
Jon took me to this very beach, one of his favourite places near his home in North Wales, and encouraged me to pursue my dream of becoming a professional artist.
The beauty of the Welsh coast ignited a spark within me. With Jon’s support, I embraced my calling and never looked back.
This moment of reflection led to the creation of my latest collection, "Spirit of the Sea." Each piece in this collection captures the sea's ever-changing moods, mirroring the emotions I felt as I faced life’s crossroads two decades before.
Waves crashing against the shore symbolize the upheaval of changing careers and moving away from my family to a new home in Wales with Jon.
The relentless breakers reshaping the beach echo my own journey of transformation. An approaching weather front hints at change, contrasting with another scene of gently lapping waves reflecting a sense of peace and acceptance, a feeling that all is well.
With Jon still at my side, I loved creating “Spirit of the Sea” for you and I hope that in each image you’ll find the messages and emotions that resonate with your own life.
This collection is a testament to the power of following your own path, no matter how daunting the journey may seem.

"Alison delicately captures a moment in time, the light dancing across its subject. Whatever appears on the canvas - mountain, coastline, bustling street, or a farmer and his dog - Alison's real subject is the light."
Spirit of the Sea Collection

The Spirit of the Sea Collection was inspired by Alison's love of the coast, and her reflections on how the different sea conditions corresponded to her feelings at a pivotal time in her life.
The compositions Alison used in this collection of paintings were chosen to convey some of the sea's many different temperaments, and they are ideal to hang as pairs or a full collection.
Infuse your home with the Spirit of the Sea, and through Alison's work make an emotional connection to your happy place every time you sit down to relax ❤️

So, why am I giving my work away for free?
It's a fair question - I'm a full-time professional artist with my own high street gallery for over 15 years.
But not everyone can get to my gallery
Customers tell me how my paintings make them feel; calmed, relaxed, absorbed, and I want to bring those feelings to more people. To people all over the world, who might not be able to come to see me in Chester, UK.
To you
I believe that everybody should be able to have beautiful artwork on their walls regardless of their budget. It's so good for the soul.
Think of this as me bringing a little piece of my gallery into your home. Maybe it will be the start of a relationship with my work so that when you're looking for that special statement piece you'll head over to my website.
With this offer I want to share my love of painting with as many people as possible, and I hope that hanging it brings you as much pleasure as painting it brought me.

Serenity
The tide is going out late in the day, leaving the wet sand mirroring the changing clouds and the fading light. The sea and sky seem calmer after a busy day on the beach, it is a moment of serenity. There is no one else on the beach but you, there is peaceful tranquility apart from the ebbing waves.

Anticipation
Sometimes the coastal weather is very changeable, a rain shower comes in then there is a shaft of bright sunshine illuminating the waves and lifting the spirits. Although there may be rough passages, there is always a brighter moment around the corner. We look at the dark skies and anticipate a ray of light.

Energy
The sea makes me feel energised, it is forever changing, it lifts my spirits to stand before crests of white surf on blue and green water on summer’s day. It is refreshing and I feel renewed and motivated by a walk along the shore.

Power
Standing before the powerful force of the sea as the breakers roll and crash on the sand. I think of the forces in natural world which we are all part of. The fresh sea spray and the roar of the waves makes you feel alive and that, like the sea, you have the power to achieve goals and sweep away obstacles.

My Customers Say...
"I have, in the past, bought a couple of Alison Bradley prints, which are fantastic. However on this visit Alison was in the gallery and I was able to talk with her about her paintings and in particular the location of the print I was buying this time. Alison was very approachable and gave advice concerning the frame and how to match or positively mismatch the surround with other furnishings. The print and its frame go perfectly in my living room. Gallery well worth a visit and even if you can't afford an original painting , the signed prints are well worth buying."
Stephanie

"This superb gallery is well worth a visit. It has many excellent pieces from an obviously talented artist. I highly recommend it, and I look forward to going again soon and making some purchases. Well done!."
John

"Alison was very helpful and got it spot-on. The Chester gallery and Alison's art are well worth a visit."
Anon

"I've visited this gallery on several occasions now & have a growing collection of Alison's wonderful art works. I love the colours used in her mountain works. The gallery staff are very helpful. Well worth a visit."
Anne
